Preschool

Key goals of our preschool programs are to help children develop social skills and equip them with the tools they need for school entry.
About

the preschool care program at Growing Roots

In our preschool program, we embrace the Reggio Emilia approach, where teachers engage with your child’s interests and extend their learning through open-ended questions and both planned and spontaneous activities. Alongside nurturing children’s interests, we also foster literacy and numeracy skills using the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), encouraging guided inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. We prepare children for primary school through short morning study sessions.

Tailor activities based on children's interests.

Children are active participants in their own growth. At Growing Roots Early Learning Center, each child has a personalized plan that incorporates their interests and their parents’ goals. We document, assess, and share children’s progress through both an online platform and paper portfolio.

In the classroom, children are encouraged to express themselves freely, fostering creativity and self-expression. Through art, storytelling, and imaginative play, they learn to communicate their thoughts and feelings, building essential language skills along the way.
